Three Ways to Put Finance to Work
A diagnostic that ends in a written recommendation. An ongoing strategic finance partner. Or complete ownership of the finance function. You can start at any of the three, and most businesses start at the first.
FORESIGHT Assessment
Fixed scope, fixed fee, written output. The entry point for almost everyone.
We examine the finance function and the decisions it is meant to support, and we report what we find. The assessment stands on its own: you can act on it internally, hand it to your accountant, or engage us. Nothing about it assumes a retainer follows.
What we look at
- Cash: the forward position, the cycle, and where it is trapped
- Margin: by product, site, channel and customer, separated properly
- Reporting: what is produced, when, and whether anyone acts on it
- Capital: the balance sheet against what you intend to spend
- The decision currently on your desk, tested against all four
Strategic CFO
The strategic half of the CFO seat, on a monthly retainer. Not bookkeeping.
You keep your bookkeeper and your accountant. We take the part neither of them does: reading the numbers forward, pressure-testing the decisions, and putting a rolling forecast in front of you that reflects what the business is about to do.
What you get
- A rolling forecast and a thirteen-week cash view, maintained, not rebuilt each quarter
- Monthly analysis of what moved and what it means for the next two quarters
- Pricing, capital allocation and hiring decisions modelled before they are made
- Lender, investor and board material prepared to a standard that survives questions
- A standing seat in the decisions that turn on money
Finance360
The whole function, delivered with our partner CPA team.
For owners who do not want to manage a finance function at all. We take the ledger through to the board pack, with the compliance layer handled by our partner CPA team, and you get one accountable partner and one calendar instead of three providers and a gap between them.
What it includes
- Everything in Strategic CFO
- Bookkeeping, close and the monthly reporting pack, on a fixed calendar
- Controls, approvals and the process discipline behind them
- Year-end coordination with the accounting firm
- A single point of accountability for the whole function
What We Do Not Do
Stated up front, so it never becomes a surprise mid-engagement. Where these are needed we coordinate with your existing advisors.
- Taxation, filings and tax planning
- Transfer pricing
- Specialised compliance and assurance services
- Legal work and corporate maintenance
Start With the Assessment
It is fixed in scope and fixed in fee, and it ends in a document you own. If the answer is that you do not need us yet, that is what it will say.
